BlueSkye Energy Consortium, a strategic collaboration between BlueSkye International and New Solar Energy System Pvt Ltd, successfully commissioned a 200kW solar power system for The Tea & Herb Company under Sri Lanka’s Net Accounting scheme.

Designed as a grid-tied mini power generation unit, the system exports clean, renewable energy directly to the national grid—enabling both environmental impact and financial gain. This project aligns with The Tea & Herb Company’s commitment to sustainable operations and environmentally responsible practices across its fully integrated tea production process.

By leveraging solar energy, the company not only lowers its carbon footprint but also contributes meaningfully to Sri Lanka’s renewable energy goals through accountable and profitable energy generation.
